I am amazed that they can sell this little shaver so inexpensively. I have had mine as my regular shaver for more than three years and it has always been effective and reliable. This morning, while enjoying another great shave I was curious to look on Amazon again and see if perhaps the low price I paid for it was some kind of computer error, as it does as good of a job as shavers costing ten times as much. But no, it is only a couple more dollars today than I paid three years ago and still a great bargain. For best results, you need to keep fresh batteries in it. If I use regular alkaline AA batteries, they will last a week or two. But what I do now is to use rechargeable batteries.
This little battery powered shaver is great for road trips when you're going to be away from power cords for a while. Rechargeable shavers are heavier and they need to be plugged in every couple of days. This puppy runs great, shaves OK, and can go for more than a week on one set of double A's. If your 're going to be gone longer, just toss more batteries in the bag. It's still lighter and cheaper than a rechargeable! I keep one set in the charger and one set in the shaver and switch them every couple of days, so it is always shaving at full power. I highly recommend this shaver for travel or everyday use and at this price you could buy a new one every year!

This shaver is excellent as a foil shaver! If you had electric shavers before, a lot of people will agree that there is little difference (at least that's what I've experienced) between an electric foil shaver worth $100 and this portable one which is worth less than $20. The movable cap makes the shaver into a case itself and the functionality is excellent which also includes the feature that allows it to be washed under the faucet. The brush is conveniently placed on the bottom of the shaver which snaps into place. The only negative comment about it is the precision trimmer as it is placed at a different angle then the foil shaver itself at a 90 degree angle facing horizontally. I'm pretty scared that if you don't push it correctly, it might be easy to break and it is kind of hard to use, especially if you have really thick sideburns. Battery life is excellent.
I've used the same double A batteries for a month using it about a minute every time I use it and it's still going! I owned an earlier version of this razor for some time. I eventually had to relinquish it to my girlfriend as she was constantly using it to shave her legs. So I bought the newer version for myself. Needless to say, since I purchased two of them, that I think this is an outstanding product. I regularly shave with a blade, but keep this shaver in my car for touch-ups in the evening, or when I'm in a big rush in the morning. It shaves as well, or better than some high dollar Braun and Panasonic shavers I have owned in the past. It certainly blows away anything Norelco has to offer. It shaves close with no irritation. I think the single head design allows it to get into tight areas much better than a dual head model. Highly recommended for every type of guys, especially if you're always on the go!

I've used electrics for decades, and have always been fond of the name BRAUN. This mighty "mite" doesn't disappoint! My old corded Braun gave up the ghost after 15+ years of daily use, which is not too bad, but I then had to rely on cordless razors. While my "standard" razor is a Remington rechargeable, this sweetheart of a mini-razor is simply beyond belief. With only TWO AA batteries, it can take on MY stubble, and that tasks the best of the cordless on a good day. The micro screen is slick and glides across the face, and even makes negotiating those "turns" easier (along the neck & jawline). I would have to say that if I were out camping, or even in the military doing some bivouac, THIS IS the razor to use!
It's easy to replace the batteries, has a great sideburn trimmer, has an auto lock swivel top to keep the head protected, and is overall a finely engineered razor. I'm kind of amazed at the design. It's years beyond all comers. It's not as quiet as other electrics, but you have to sacrifice something for the power it displays, so that's not a biggie. It IS quieter than most CORDED shavers. My Remington is MUCH noisier, so this is a welcome addition to my arsenal of shaving ordnance. I recommend it to everyone that needs a good razor, and has little room to carry one. It's one of the better deals in new technologies these days, dollar for dollar.
