I got this electric razor for my husband as a replacement for his old norelco and he really seems to like it. Things we've noticed that are nice improvements over his old one: the triple ringed heads - ie each of the three shaving heads has three rings of shaving within the head which makes shaving time much faster as it give him more coverage in the same amount of time as his single ring (triple head) shaver. It's so quiet I can hardly hear him shave in the morning - a great improvement over the super noisy one, especially since he gets up at the crack of dawn and I don't. We both love that this one allows you to rinse it clean under running water.

As the primary home cleaner, I find that means a lot less mess in the sink every morning, ergo I don't have to clean up after him as much (woo hoo!). The shaver also holds a charge for what seems like forever. I think he only charges it once every two weeks or so. often he doesn't even have to take the charger with him when he travels which is nice because that's one more thing he doesn't have to worry about leaving behind.

So, yeah I'm not a guy so I didn't actually use this product. But my husband sure did. So I will tell you a little about him. He likes electric shavers, but his skin is so sensitive to them. He used to have to go 3-4 days without shaving because of the pain. When he finished shaving, he always looked as if someone had hit him, or burned him with something. The entire area was red. Also when I touched his face it was always prickly. He had tried numerous shavers. At least a new one every few months. It got expensive. So we tried this one. I have to say it is the best thing out there right now. He was able to use it and it didn't leave his face red. When touched, his face is baby smooth. Definite plus! He is now able to shave every day and not have to worry about the redness and tenderness. This is well worth the money.

Best Electric Shaver
This shaver is an improvement on my older Braun and an older Norelco (stolen in a foreign airport.) The shave is fast and close, the battery is good for two weeks of my shaves. There is no low-battery indicator. However, the shaver works with only the cord or recharges enough for one shave in a couple of minutes and fully recharges in an hour as claimed.

A former 40+ year blade user I switch to electric seven years ago to eliminate the early morning mess of a wet shave. The tipping point for me came when electric razors became washable. For those of us old enough to know, electrics previously required tedious cleaning with a brush and cleaning fluid. I've sampled both Remington and Norelco. This Norelco is the best quality electric I have owned an opinion shared by many on this page. In my opinion, the triple head technology is vastly superior to the foil razor in comfort.

In addition, the shave can be as close as a blade which leads me to my tip of the day. Initially, I prep my face with the Total Shaving Solution brand pre-electric solution. After several minutes of shaving, I stop to wet my face with soap and water before completing the shave. The Norelco glides effortlessly over the wet face resulting in a real close shave without irritation. Thus far, wet shaving with this electric has not harmed my razor, and I have been using this method for a solid year. Happy shaving.
